Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about non-fault accident management — costs, excess, no claims discounts, replacement vehicles and repairs.
What is accident management?
Accident management is a complete service that takes over your claim after a non-fault accident. We arrange vehicle recovery, provide a like-for-like replacement vehicle, manage repairs at approved bodyshops and recover all costs from the at-fault driver's insurer — so you don't pay an excess or lose your no claims discount.
How much does your service cost?
For non-fault accidents, our service costs you nothing. All charges — including replacement vehicle hire, recovery, storage and repairs — are recovered directly from the at-fault driver's insurance company.
Will my no claims discount be affected?
No. Because your claim is made against the at-fault driver's insurer rather than your own policy, your no claims discount remains fully protected.
Do I have to pay my insurance excess?
No. You only pay an excess when claiming through your own insurer. We claim against the at-fault party's insurer, so there is no excess to pay.
How quickly will I get a replacement vehicle?
We aim to deliver a like-for-like replacement vehicle to any destination in the UK within 4 hours of your claim being set up.
What if I'm a taxi or private hire driver?
We specialise in keeping working drivers on the road. Our fleet includes plated taxis, private hire vehicles and PCO-licensed cars, delivered fast so you don't lose income.
What should I do at the scene of an accident?
Make sure everyone is safe and call 999 if anyone is injured. Exchange details with the other driver (name, registration, insurer), photograph the scene and damage, note any witnesses — then call us on 0208 981 4633 and we'll take it from there.
What if the other driver denies fault?
Our handlers are specialists in liability disputes. We gather evidence — photographs, witness statements, dashcam footage, engineer reports — and negotiate firmly with the at-fault insurer to protect your position.
Are your repairs guaranteed?
Yes. All repairs are completed at insurance-approved bodyshops to manufacturer standards and come with a 3-year paint protection guarantee.
Do I have to tell my own insurance company?
You should notify your insurer that an accident occurred — for information only. You are not obliged to claim through them, and doing it our way protects your excess and no claims discount.
